{"id":348,"date":"2007-10-15T04:42:01","date_gmt":"2007-10-15T09:42:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nicomuhly.com\/news\/2007\/food-explosion\/"},"modified":"2007-10-15T04:42:01","modified_gmt":"2007-10-15T09:42:01","slug":"food-explosion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nicomuhly.com\/news\/2007\/food-explosion\/","title":{"rendered":"Food Explosion"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Back in Iceland\u00c2\u00a0&#8220;\u201d\u00c2\u00a0I arrived yesterday morning and after a little nap, woke up and Sigga Sunna (pictured) had prepared a pornographic amount of food for breakfast &#8220;\u201c we are discussing abondanza on the level of <img src='https:\/\/nicomuhly.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/10\/img_0371.thumbnail.JPG' alt='img_0371.JPG'class=\"left\"\/>the <a href=\"https:\/\/nicomuhly.com\/news\/2007\/faroe-part-ii-cauliflower-cheese\/\"target=\"_blank\">Epic Lunch<\/a> I had on the Faroe Islands earlier this summer &#8220;\u201c with nine different kinds of yogurt-like dairy, granola, meats, salads with shrimp and salmon, breads, pastry, bread-like pastry, pastry-like bread.  I think the strategy was for me to get my Full Scandinavia on before having to plow full on into work.<\/p>\n<p>I have made a short pile of arrangements for the Norwegian\/Swedish singer <a href=\"http:\/\/www.anebrun.com\/\"target=\"_blank\">Ane Brun<\/a>, which we are recording this morning, and then the madness of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.icelandairwaves.com\/\"target=\"_blank\">Iceland Airwaves Festival<\/a> begins in earnest the day after tomorrow.
