Sometimes I don’t really understand what the Times<\/em> is up to. They have some weird style sheet that allows this article<\/a> to get away with pretentiously rendering Ast\u00e9rix and Ob\u00e9lix in that fashion, and then this<\/a> article to get away with spelling names like Bj\u00f6rk and \u00c3\u201cl\u00c3\u00b6f without any diacritix at all (Olof?). This is particularly annoying because \u00e9 in French is, literally, the same thing as e just with an acute accent on him. \u00c3\u201c, and \u00c3\u2013, in Icelandic, are totally different letters, with \u00c3\u2013 being at the far end of their Alphabet:<\/p>\n
