Impressive song-by-song rundown of the album. I thought my admiration for Ghost Stories inexplicable at first. So many have panned it as overtly/overly repetitive and unoriginal. You satisfyingly express the exact combination of elements that make this album both predictable and likeable. Truly, all art references something, even Sigur. Got to your blog from BBC and will be returning in future.

I completely agree. Coldplays third and fourth albums (and their live shows) were a complete ripoff of U2!
