Love your music, your blog is rad, and (speaking as a composer) you probably have one of the sickest jobs imaginable. I mean, collaborating with the boys from Grizzly Bear and Sigur Rós, hanging out with Annie Clark et al., seeing, doing, traveling, bloggin’-it, thinking out loud, looking within, all while continuously churning out new works for commissions – you’re an inspiration to a new generation of composers…the ones whose ears are open, anyway. It is my dream to work (or even take a peek) in circles very similar to the ones in which you run…Heard you might be coming to speak at NYU in the fall? Here’s hoping…
